The Project

As we speak, India is currently undergoing one of its most difficult periods as we collectively face this pandemic together. While Government has managed to administer an astonishing figure of 1,51,51,11,687 vaccine doses so far. The entire process of vaccination has taken place through the Cowin portal.

Apart from vaccination, wearing a mask has always been a very important precaution which we have been told time and again to adhere without any laxity.

Frontline warriors have been working selflessly and tirelessly since the lockdown was enforced. Doctors, nurses, police officers, and other members of the emergency services are putting their lives in danger while performing their responsibilities flawlessly.

One such example is Mumbai Police, which has been working relentlessly to ensure that lockdown protocols are rigorously adhered to.

And now, a crowdfunding drive has been launched to generate cash for the production of customised masks for Mumbai Police officers. Naina Parekh, a Mumbai-based businesswoman, initiated the effort, which has gained widespread support. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, comedian Kunal Kamra, writer Faye D’Souza, and Shiv Sena politician Priyanka Chaturvedi have all lent their support to the cause.

Kunal Kamra, a comedian, took to Twitter to urge others to support the effort. “Doston, let’s make this happen. Please donate at – http://maskformumbaipolice.in.”
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has asked others to join the campaign, and the Mumbai Police Department has made a gift. “Good day, folks!” “A group of individuals have come up with a wonderful effort to raise cash to provide the most effective masks (n-95) at the best attainable pricing for @mumbaipolice,” she tweeted with the poster. “With a donation of Rs 300, you can defend an officer for three months!” “Please give,” she said in her tweet.

Amidst these tough times where all our health-care workers are being extremely well supported and equipped with the required equipment to assist them in fighting this cause, EUME, a lifestyle firm owned by Avon Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, has been working with Mumbai Police to ensure that the entire Mumbai Police force remains well equipped as they help us fight this pandemic on the battle ground.

The Protect+ Pro 95 Mask, a government certified laboratory approved 30 day-reusable and washable mask, will be distributed to each and every member of the Mumbai Police Force. These masks will be provided in a ‘Pack of 3’ to each member of the force to ensure that their health is taken best care of for at least the next 90 days. The mask will come with a respiratory valve to ensure maximum breathability for our Police Force, and adjustable around the head straps to ensure no pain on the back of the ears and easy facial mobility.

This specific mask is manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified, and a World Health Organization Good Manufacturing Practice (WHO-GMP) certified setup to ensure maximum health and safety regulatory standards are being followed. The certifications and lab reports for the same have been attached below.

At the minimalistic cost of Rs. 300 for a pack of 3, you are being asked for a donation that will amount to merely Rs. 3.33 a day per person to ensure that the safety of our police officers for at least the next 90 days. In comparison, an N95 mask costs roughly Rs. 65 per piece, and is recommended for a use of no more than ‘2 rounds of wear’, as described by the CDC Health Guidelines, where it stresses on ‘as limited reuse as possible’.

Mumbai Police has always protected us, and now it is our turn to help protect them.

Online Gaming and Covid-19 Pandemic

Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, many of us have altered our regular routines and spent more time at home. Lockdowns have made getting our regular dose of exercise and social interaction impossible. But, more than ever, remaining active and connected to our loved ones is critical, particularly for our physical and emotional health. WHO has urged online gaming firms to ask its customers to accept WHO’s #HealthyAtHome challenge in order to motivate millions of online gamers to live an active lifestyle and care for their mental health.

For example, Garena Free Fire has seen immense surge in popularity. In 2019, it became the most downloaded smartphone game in the world. In 2019, the Google Play Store awarded the game the title of “Best Popular Vote Game.” As of May 2020, Free Fire has over 80 million daily active users worldwide. It is claimed that one of the major reason for the game’s inordinate success is the unique concept of distributing free redeem coupon codes which are also said free fire redeem code, which are used to avail free features of the game.

Another Example is Gardenscapes . In Spring 2021, Playrix’s famous Gardenscapes game introduced Yoga Season, which encourages players to remain active, increase their energy, and improve their health via yoga and meditation.

A new programme for World Mental Health Day was launched in the fall of 2021.
